Howard Pickard Celebrates 30 Years as Managing Director at Leeds and Bradford Boiler Company

Today we celebrate a significant milestone as Howard Pickard marks 30 years as Managing Director of Leeds and Bradford Boiler Company. Since taking the helm as the 5th generation of his family to do so, Howard has been a driving force behind the company’s growth, resilience, and success, overseeing key developments that have helped shape the company into the industry leader it is today.

Under Howard’s leadership, and for much of this time the able support of his brother Robert, the company has not only grown in size and capability but has also expanded its horizons through strategic acquisitions and market development. In the 2000s, Howard successfully navigated a company restructure, creating LBBC Technologies and LBBC Beechwood divisions ensuring that the business could grow through focusing on it’s core competences. As a result of this success, he oversaw the building of a new, state-of-the-art facility that continues to enhance the company’s innovative technical achievements.

Howard’s leadership led to the acquisition of the LBBC Baskerville brand in 2015, and of the company, Resomation Ltd in 2016, marking another exciting chapter in the company’s growth and its commitment to offering sustainable solutions

To mark this occasion and show appreciation for Howard’s leadership, the company will host today a fish and chip van, treating all employees to a traditional local delight and celebrate together.

Reflecting on his 30 years, Howard said:

“It has been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful to have worked alongside such a talented and dedicated team. Our success is built on the hard work of everyone here, and I’m excited for what the future holds.”

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and thanks to Howard for his three decades of leadership.
