Congratulations to Adam Benn, QHSE Manager at LBBC Beechwood, for winning the ‘Future Manufacturing Leader Award’ at Leeds Manufacturing Festival’s Next Gen Awards earlier in the month.

The Next Gen Award ceremony, introduced to recognise the achievements of the sector’s ‘next generation’ of manufacturing leaders and rising stars, was organised by the Leeds Manufacturing Festival, who aim to highlight the range of diverse career opportunities on offer in engineering and manufacturing within Leeds City Region.

Adam joined the business in 2017 as an apprentice-trained fabricator and rapidly proved his leadership potential, earning the respect of colleagues and making significant improvements to the business.

“Adam truly deserves this award – in recognition of his outstanding achievements and contribution to changing culture and performance through employee engagement,”

Andrew Quayle, General Manager LBBC Beechwood

“Thank you to Leeds Manufacturing Festival and Sound Leisure Ltd for hosting the awards. I feel extremely grateful to be in a position where I have been nominated for an award, and winning is a great testament to the great work that’s been going on at LBBC Group over the last few years.”
