Job Description

We have a vacancy for a Welder at LBBC Beechwood.

The role responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for welding sub-assemblies and pressure equipment using various welding techniques on high integrity pressure equipment.
  • Achieving a high success rate on any NDT welds.
  • Achieving manufacturing hours and deadlines are achieved to meet the customers’ needs.
  • Ensuring you will become part of the right first time culture.
  • Adherence to all Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring high levels of quality and workmanship are maintained.
  • Supporting other departments in the manufacture of products.
  • Completion of all paperwork to maintain complete traceability.

Remuneration

We offer competitive rates of pay based upon a basic 37 hours per week Monday – Thursday. Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays along with pensioon scheme, sick pay scheme and development opportunities.

Overtime is offered when available.

 

Experience Required

Background or experience working with or in the following areas:

  • Pressure Vessel Manufacture
  • Radiographic and ultrasonic tested welds
  • Stainless steel
  • Manufacturing to engineering drawings
  • Welding in 2G position and weld procedures
